She was first inspired by a Jennifer Lopez movie and it was then that she discovered her love for planning. Graduating from University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Interpersonal Relations and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Michaéla knew that she had 2 choices: Corporate America where she would not get to live her dreams or Go into business for herself to live her passion every day. In 2010, Michaéla started Lachelle Lane Events with a vision to become a premier wedding and event planner.

During her time in college, Michaéla started interning with entertainment and marketing companies where she grew her planning and budgeting skills while planning and coordinating large events from monthly socials to concerts but her passion never strayed from the romance and beauty that was Weddings. With years of event and promotions experience, Michaéla has a keen eye for the tasteful and classic yet keeping up with current trends and modern flare. Constantly drawing inspiration from bridal magazines and combining with her ability for always finding the best deal for her clients, Michaéla has become a highly sought after event specialist.
